Resumen:
El
Jarillo, pueblo agricultor mirandino, fundado por inmigrantes alemanes a
finales del siglo XIX, se ha integrado exitosamente en la vida y cultura
venezolana. Sin embargo, quedan rasgos y síntomas subconscientes de
estratos antiguos. Para descubrirlos se analiza el repertorio musical
con sus componentes condicionantes y resultantes, especialmente el
pensamiento rítmico y conceptual de la textura musical. |

Abstract:
El Jarillo is an agricultural village founded by German immigrants at
the end of the 19th century. It integrated successfully into the
Venezuelan life and culture. Nevertheless, there are remaining
subconscious traits and symptoms of its roots. To uncover them the
musical repertoire will be analyzed together with its conditioning and
resulting components, especially the rhythmical and conceptual thought
of the musical texture. |

Carreño, padre de la eximia pianista venezolana Teresa Carreño, cumplió
un rol de primer orden en su formación. Los materiales que utiliza tanto
con su hija como con sus alumnos los concretó en un método que no se
llegó a publicar. Las razones que motivaron esta situación, salen por
primera vez a la luz pública en este trabajo. |

Manuel Antonio Carreño, father of eminent venezuelan pianist Teresa
Carreño, placed a fundamental role in his daughter´s formation. The
materials which he used with both his daughter and his students
comprise a method which was never published, reasons which are
revealed for the first time in this work |
