Resumen:
La autora presenta aquí la segunda parte de su
trabajo más amplio titulado Materiales para el estudio de la Arqueología
Musical referido a la Música Occidental. Este trabajo está estructurado
en cuatro partes: la primera trata sobre la Prehistoria (Brito Stelling,
María Isabel y Daniele, Sergio (1989). “Arqueología de la Música”.
Revista Musical de Venezuela. Caracas, Fundación Vicente Emilio Sojo, Nº
27, pp. 165-184); la segunda parte que aquí se presenta versa sobre
Egipto y Mesopotamia; la tercera parte corresponde a Grecia y Roma;
mientras que la última parte está dedicada a la música del mundo árabe y
la música del mundo medieval europeo. |

Abstract:
The author presents the
second part of her work wider titled Materials here for the study of the
Musical Archaeology referred to the Western Music. This work is
structured in four parts: the first one tries on the Prehistory (Brito
Stelling, María Isabel and Daniele, Sergio (1989). "Archaeology of the

Resumen:
En un esfuerzo por
colaborar en la documentación de un período histórico relevante para
México y para Latinoamérica en general, se ofrece al lector y musicólogo
un conjunto de datos proveniente de fuentes musicales y extra musicales
primarias, que normalmente figuran disgregados en diversos fondos,
clasificados y ordenados de tal forma que constituyan una herramienta
metodológica para la consecución de metas de investigación en el área de
música colonial mexicana. |

Abstract:
In attend to colaborate with the
documentation of an important time of history for Mexico and
Latinoamerica, it offers to the reader and musicologist a group of
data coming from musical and extra-musical sources, clasificated in
order to be a methodical tool for getting goals into the mexican
colonial music researches.
